Obsidian Strategic will consider all community feedback and finalise the proposal accordingly before submitting an outline planning application to Thurrock Council this autumn.

Obsidian Strategic is a development company that focuses on the delivery of housing and mixed-use developments across the South of England.

Obsidian seeks to maximise value through the planning process whilst also being wholly committed to creating a positive legacy through its developments.

THE EMERGING PROPOSAL

The emerging proposal seeks to provide a mixture of up to 150 new homes in North Stifford.

The proposal includes plenty of green open space, biodiversity improvements and drainage measures. Highways upgrades will be undertaken where necessary and proportionate funding will be provided to support the expansion of local services.

There is also potential to invest in community facilities in North Stifford through the Section 106 Agreement.
